Monthly competition is separated into 3 categories. Members can compete each month by entering an image in the MONTHLY Category, an OPEN Category and SPECIAL EFFECTS Category.
MONTHLY CATEGORY
The Monthly Category changes each month and is listed to the left. These subjects can be interpreted figuratively or literally.
OPEN CATEGORY
This can be any subject.
SPECIAL EFFECTS
This is an image that is altered by the use of Special Lighting, Special Darkroom Techniques, combining multiple imges, Filters, etc. to produce a striking or unusual concept.
